PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's hockey team skated to a 2-2 tie against UConn on Friday, Feb. 2 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. Providence won the shootout, 2-0, for the extra point in Hockey East standings. The team is 5-0-2 in the last seven games to extend its unbeaten streak. Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the night with 34 saves, marking a career high.
