PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's hockey team defeated the Holy Cross Crusaders, 3-1, on Saturday, Jan. 20 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) and Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) led the Friars with two points each. Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the day with 17 saves.

- Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y.) netted the first goal of the day at the 15-minute mark of the first period with help from Kiara Kraft (Churchville, N.Y.) and Grace Shirley (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan).
- With 30 seconds left in the first period, Lulu Rourke scored (1-1) Holy Cross' first goal.
- Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) and Lauren DeBlois (Lewiston, Maine) helped Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) to a power play goal 9:39 into the second period.
- Kirchmair returned five minutes later with her second goal, 3-1. Claire Tyo (Massena, N.Y.) and Rachel Weiss (Calgary, Alberta) were each credited with an assist.
- With one minute left in the second, Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) extended the Friars lead to 4-1. Maddy Coene (Clayton, N.Y.) assisted the play.
