BURLINGTON, Vt. - The Providence College women's hockey team shutout the University of Vermont, 6-0, on Friday, Jan. 12 at the Gutterson Fieldhouse in Burlington, Vt. Three Friars recorded three points, while Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the night with 20 saves.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
-Cristina Cavaliere (Mississauga, Ontario) netted the first goal of the night, her first of the season, one minute into the first period. Maddy Coene (Clayton, N.Y.) and Hannah Johnson (Readfield, Maine) were each credited with an assist.
-Three minutes later, Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) scored the Friars' second goal, unassisted.
-Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) put the Friars up 3-0 at the 2:54 mark of the second period with Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) and Rachel Weiss (Calgary, Alberta) each earning an assist on the play.
-At 4:13 in the second period, Weiss extended the Friars' lead to 4-0 with help from Kirchmair and Bochna.
-Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y.) and Cavaliere assisted Knapp to her second goal of the night one minute into the final period. The goal marked Knapp's second multi-goal game of her career.
-At the 13:00 mark, Bochna converted on a power play to make the final score 6-0. Weiss and Kirchmair were each credited with an assist.
-Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the night with 20 saves. She logged her third shut-out victory of the season.
-Providence's six goals matched a season-high. The Friars also scored six goals against New Hampshire on Dec. 8. Both games were played on the road.
