CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Top-ranked Boston College received goals from five different players in the second period as the Eagles coasted past Canadian university Simon Fraser 5-1 on Saturday night in exhibition action at Kelley Rink.
Sophomore linemates Oskar Jellvik and Andre Gasseau each had a goal and an assist in the win, while junior Connor Joyce collected a pair of assists. Junior Mike Posma along with graduate students Jamie Armstrong and Jacob Bengtsson also lit the lamp.
Freshman Jan Korec earned the win in net by stopping 11 of the 12 shots he faced, while classmate Alex Musielak made seven saves in the final 10 minutes of regulation. Both goaltenders were playing their first minutes in a BC sweater.
