PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's hockey team skated to a 3-3 tie against Boston University on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. Mireille Kingsley (Sudbury, Ontario) finished the day with 23 saves. Kayla Kutes (Kirkland, Wa.) secured the extra point for the Friars with a goal in the 10th round of the shootout.

- The Terriers struck at the 10:27 mark of the first period when Catherine Foulem and Alex Law assisted Tamara Giaquinto to a goal.
- At 15:27, Nadia Mattiv scored with help from Law and Ani Fitzgerald to give the Terriers a 2-0 lead.
- One minute into the second period, Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) netted the Friars' first goal with Mégane Quirion (Saint Eustache, Quebec) and Hannah Johnson (Readfield, Maine) assisting.
- Boston University responded at 9:27 with a goal from Brooke Disher, 3-1. Mattivi and Christina Vote were each credited with an assist.

- Grace Shirley (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) found the equalizer for the Friars at 17:50 to send the game into overtime. Johnson and Lauren DeBlois (Lewiston, Maine) were each credited with an assist.
- Both teams were scoreless in overtime, ending regulation at a 3-3 tie.
- Providence won the shootout, 3-2, after 10 rounds for the extra point in Hockey East standings.
