POTSDAM, NY. - Boston College women's hockey fell to No. 9 Clarkson on Saturday afternoon at Cheel Arena.
Boston College opened the scoring thirty seconds into the game when Julia Pellerin took Gaby Roy's pass for a breakaway, and beat the goalie just under her pad. Clarkson answered later in the period at the 13:41 mark when Alexia Guay received a backdoor pass from the slot, and beat the goalie just inside the right post. Clarkson extended its lead to 3-1 in the second period with two goals from Jenna Goodwin and Keira Hurry under a minute apart. The Golden Knights made it 4-1 off a goal from Anne Cherkowski at the 3:40 mark of the third period. Boston College answered back when Abby Newhook finished a pass from Gabby Roy to make it 4-2 at the 15:19 mark of the third period.
