POTSDAM, N.Y. - Boston College women's hockey team fell in the 2023-24 season opener, dropping a 3-0 contest to No. 9 Clarkson on Friday night at Cheel Arena.
Clarkson opened the scoring off a goal from Laurence Frenette at 7:54 in the first period. The Golden Knights extended the lead to 2-0 when Darcie Lappan's shot beat Campbell low stick side at the 8:47 mark of the third period. Clarkson added another goal late in the third period off a shot from Anne Cherkowksi at 16:47 that beat the diving goalie just under her pad.
