DURHAM, N.H. - Freshman goalie Tyler Muszelik (Long Valley, N.J.) recorded 29 saves to earn his first collegiate shutout as the University of New Hampshire's men's hockey team tied Maine, 0-0, on Saturday evening at a sold out Whittemore Center.

Senior captain Chase Stevenson (West Kelowna, British Columbia) scored the only goal of the shootout to give the Wildcats the extra point in the Hocket East standings. UNH earned four of the six points on the weekend versus the Black Bears.

The Wildcats, who are 4-0-2 over their last six games, are now 11-18-3 (6-13-3 Hockey East), while the Black Bears are to 13-13-5 (7-9-4 Hockey East).

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- With the game tied at 0-0, at 9:20 of the third period Muszelik made a diving save as Didrik Henbrant attempted to land a goal glove side.

- After overtime, Stevenson netted the only goal of the shootout stick side hitting the top left corner of the net.

- Muszelik posted 29 saves to secure his first collegiate shutout, while Victor Ostman had 27 saves to also post a shutout.

- Maine outshot UNH, 29-27.
