North Andover, MA - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team earns the 1-0 shutout victory over Merrimack with a power play goal in the first period.
(First Goal 1-0 Maine): 15:21 into the first Maine took advantage of the power play to score their first goal. Elise Morphy began with the puck, skating around the net with the rest of the Black Bears where she found Mira Seregély. Seregély then found Alyssa Wruble in front of the net where she then guided the puck in for the score. This was Wruble's tenth goal of the season and led the Black Bears to victory.
Jorden Mattison earned the shutout victory with 27 saves.
Calli Hogarth finishes with 21 saves for Merrimack.
