CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Behind a 42-save shutout from Abigail Levy and two goals from Abby Newhook, the Boston College women's hockey team earned a 3-0 win over #11/12 Providence College on Friday night at Kelley Rink.

The Eagles took a 1-0 lead midway through the first period with Newhook finishing a feed from Hannah Bilka for a short-handed tally. Levy made 17 stops in the opening stanza.

Gaby Roy's breakaway with 15 seconds left in the second made it 2-0 before Bilka found Newhook again early in the third period.

- Providence College had the 42-28 lead in shots on goal

- Abby Newhook scored two goals for her fourth career multi-goal game and 20th career multi-point game.

- Newhook's first goal of the game marked her first career short-handed goal and gives her 12 career game-winning goals, good for sole possession of ninth all-time in program history.

- Hannah Bilka recorded two assists for her 33rd career multi-point game and 12th career multi-assist game ... she recorded her 14th career game-winning assist.

- Bilka now has 23 assists on the year, tying her career best.

- Gaby Roy scored her seventh goal of the season.

- With an assist on Roy's goal, Cayla Barnes became the 10th defender in program history to reach 50 career assists.

- Barnes and Sidney Fess both finished with a game-high four blocked shots.
