NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Five different Huskies tallied a two-point evening as Northeastern skated away with a 5-1 win over #11 Merrimack.

- The Huskies wasted no time taking the lead in game one against Merrimack. With only 3:19 off the clock, Northeastern's power-play unit struck on a weak side bury from Sam Colangelo. The assists were credited to Gunnarwolfe Fontaine and Aidan McDonough.

- For his fifth goal of the season, Matt Choupani bested the Warriors netminder with a wrap around in front the crease. Choupani's helpers came from Hunter McDonald and Fontaine, his second of the night.

- Quicker than anyone expected, Hryckowian tallied another goal for Northeastern just 17 seconds into the final period. The senior defensive pair of Jayden Struble and Jeremie Bucheler collected the helpers to make it 4-2.

- Liam Walsh, the graduate transfer from Merrimack, went top shelf for the Huskies final goal to secure a 5-1 victory. Walsh was assisted by Colangelo and Struble.

- Netminder Devon Levi finished the night with 33 saves for his 11th win of the season, while Matt DeMelis led the team with three blocks and Hryckowian tallied 12 faceoff wins to lead both teams.
