BOSTON, Mass. - Powered by four different goal scorers, the Northeastern men's hockey team defeated No. 9/10 Connecticut, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon at Frozen Fenway. Northeastern is now 2-1-1 all-time at America's Most Beloved Ballpark.  

Cam Lund, Liam Walsh, Jack Williams and Aidan McDonough all recorded multi-point games for Northeastern.

- Northeastern got off to a hot start, jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first frame. Captain Aidan McDonough started the scoring with his team-leading 13th goal of the season. McDonough's tally was assisted by Cam Lund and Tyler Spott.

- Liam Walsh then doubled NU's lead to 2-0 with his first goal in a Husky uniform. Walsh had assists from Jack Williams and Matt Choupani.

- Both teams skated to a scoreless second frame. In the final stanza, UConn cut the deficit to 2-1.

- Justin Hryckowian answered 35 seconds later for the Huskies to bring the lead back to two. Jack Williams then closed out the scoring and brought the final score to 4-1.

- Devon Levi finished his day with 29 saves in his ninth win of the season. Jayden Struble led all Northeastern players with three blocks.

Northeastern will face UConn again on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. in Storrs, Conn.
