GAME FLOW & NOTES

  - Friars struck first 3:25 into the first period when Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) scored with help from Lauren DeBlois (Lewiston, Maine).  

- Providence carried the 1-0 lead into the first intermission.    

- Quinnipiac got on the board 4:50 into the second period when Jess Schryver scored. Sophie Urban and Zoe Boyd assisted on the goal.   

- Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y.) returned less than a minute later at 5:28 with the Friars' second goal of the night. Ida Press (Uppsala, Sweden) and Sara Hjalmarsson (Bankeryd, Sweden) were each credited with an assist.   

- Bobcats' Sadie Peart scored unassisted at the 7:13 mark to tie the score, 2-2.   

- Quinnipiac took a 3-2 lead when Courtney Vorster and Zoe Boyd assisted Olivia Mobley to a goal 11:19 into the second period.  

- Both teams skated through third period scoreless.   

- Sandra Abstreiter (Freising, Germany) finished the night with 41 saves.
