CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Merrimack Warriors Men's Hockey Team scored four unanswered goals and scored in every period as they rolled over the Boston College Eagles by a score of 5-2 to complete the weekend sweep on Saturday afternoon at the Conte Forum.


The Basics­

How it Happened:

- Merrimack continued where they left off on Thursday, as they came out of the chute hot, and Ben Brar put the Warriors on top just under five minutes into the game.

- The Eagles would tie the game just under 11 minutes later as they would tie the score with a powerplay goal.

- The tie would be short lived, as the Warriors quickly re-took the lead just over two and a half minutes later off of a Mark Hillier powerplay goal.

- The Warriors would get the eventual game winner with 39 seconds to go in the second, as Mike Brown's point shot bounced over the pad of the Eagles goaltender to make the score 3-1.

- Merrimack would add their 4th goal of the night and third powerplay goal of the weekend when Alex Jefferies scored to tally his 11th point of the season.

- Merrimack would score for the fifth and final time, three minutes later when Filip Forsmark scored his second of the weekend.

- Boston College would get one more marker on the board as they scored with 1:44 to play in the contest, but that would be all and the Warriors wrapped up the sweep.
