DURHAM, N.H - Powered by a three-point effort from senior Katy Knoll, the No. 7 Northeastern women's hockey team shutout the New Hampshire Wildcats, 5-0, on Friday evening at the Whittemore Center.

- Graduate student Maureen Murphy pounced on a defense error from New Hampshire to pot the Huskies' first goal of the game. Murphy's tally was unassisted and came at the 17:25 mark of the first period.

- In the second frame, graduate student Alina Mueller found the back of the net on the power-play to put Northeastern up 2-0. Mueller's goal was assisted by Murphy and Knoll.

- Knoll got a goal of her own in the third frame to push the Huskies' lead to 3-0 with assists from freshman Holly Abela and sophomore Taze Thompson. Knoll then potted her second of the night and brought the score to 4-0. Mueller tallied the lone assist on Knoll's second goal.

- Graduate student Mia Brown closed out the scoring with the Huskies' fifth goal of the evening. Sophomore Skylar Irving and graduate student Maude Poulin-Labelle had assists.

- Senior netminder Gwyneth Philips, finished with 11 saves in her third shutout of the season.

The Huskies will play New Hampshire on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. in Matthews Arena.
