ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Thanks to a three-goal second period and a stellar defensive effort in the final 20 minutes, the No. 9 Boston University men's ice hockey team earned a 3-2 win at No. 6 Michigan on Sunday night at Yost Ice Arena.

Junior Cade Webber scored his first collegiate goal to tie the game at 1-1 and senior Domenick Fensore followed with his first goal of the season to even the score at 2-2 before senior Matt Brown's second goal of the season gave BU a lead it never relinquished.

Junior Jay O'Brien assisted on the final two goals to complete a two-point night while Brown and Fensore each added an assist to have two-point nights as well. Freshmen Ryan Greene and Quinn Hutson had the helpers on Webber's goal.

Junior goaltender Vinny Duplessis was fantastic in his first start of the season, making 31 saves. He stopped all 12 shots he faced over the final 20 minutes to preserve the win.
