NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Four different Eagles scored and Grace Campbell made 32 saves as the Boston College women's hockey team earned a 4-1 win over Merrimack on Thursday night at Lawler Rink.
In addition to Campbell's first career win, the victory also marked the 500th win in program history.
Hannah Bilka's short-handed tally opened the scoring in the first period and then Katie Pyne, Abby Newhook and Gaby Roy closed things out for the Eagles.

- Merrimack had the 33-28 lead in shots on goal.
- The Eagles went 1-for-4 on the power play while Merrimack was 1-for-5.
- BC now holds a 22-1-0 mark in the all-time series with Merrimack ... the Eagles have a mark of 11-1-0 at Lawler Rink ... head coach Katie Crowley is now 22-1-0 in her career against the Warriors.
- The win marked the 500th in program history ... BC is just the 13th Division I women's program to reach that mark and just the fifth program that started varsity play after 1990.
- Grace Campbell earned her first career start and win with her 32-save performance.
- Hannah Bilka scored her sixth career short-handed goal to move into a tie for fifth all-time in program history.
- Katie Pyne and Abby Newhook both potted their first goals of the season.
- Bilka tallied one goal and one assist for her 24th career multi-point game and second of the season.
- Newhook registered one goal and one assist for her 12th career multi-point game.
- This marked BC's fifth consecutive win in the Hockey East opener.
