Orono, Maine - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team fell to Quinnipiac Saturday afternoon 3-0.
First Goal (1-0 Quinnipiac): The Bobcats would get the first of the day with a goal early in the first from Nina Steigauf. Mia Lopita would get the assist.
Second Goal (2-0 Quinnipiac): Quinnipiac would get their second of the day in the second period from Olivia Mobley and assisted by Alexa Hoskin and Sadie Peart.
Third Goal (3-0 Quinnipiac): The puck would find its way to the back for the third time for Quinnipiac in the second period from Lexi Adzija. Olivia Mobley would pick up the assist.
Jorden Mattison had 26 saves on the day.
The Black Bears will be back in action October 1 on the road when they face St. Anselm College.
