ORONO, ME - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team had an offensive outburst as they firmly beat the Terriers of Boston University, 5-1.

FIRST GOAL (1-0 Maine): Following a great feed by Courtney Colarullo (2), Nicole Pateman was left wide open for a blue line slap-shot, which she netted for her second goal of the season. Ali Beltz (5) also picked up an assist.

SECOND GOAL (1-1): Boston University would answer back in a hurry as Emma Wuthrich deposited her fourth goal of the season into the back of the net. Her close up wrist-shot came off of a feed by Ellie Larson (2), who received the puck from Tamara Giaquinto (1).

THIRD GOAL (2-1 Maine): Maine would begin their four unanswered goals as Taylor Leech netted her third of the season. The one-time slap-shot came off of a pass back from Rahel Enzler (1) and the breakaway opportunity began off of the Nicole Pateman (1) steal.

FOURTH GOAL (3-1 Maine): Bailey Oakes would net her first collegiate goal as Maine increased their lead. Her one-timer slap-shot came off of her stick close to the net of Kate Stuart, who was unable to stop the chance. Ida Kuoppala (8) and Nicole Pateman (2) picked up the assists during the play.

FIFTH GOAL (4-1 Maine): Courtney Colarullo would keep the offense rolling for the Black Bears as her second of the season came off of a saved shot taken by Alyssa Wruble (2). Her shot was set up by Ali beltz (6).

SIXTH GOAL (5-1 Maine): Ida Kuoppala would conclude the season high scoring output by the Black Bears as she netted a back-hand wrist-shot that she dragged right in front of Stuart and beat her low to the glove side. Her third goal of the season came off of the takeaway by Nicole Pateman (3).

Maine (5-8-1, 3-5-1 HE) will be looking for their fourth consecutive victory as the Providence College Friars pay a visit to Alfond Arena on Sunday, Nov. 21. Puck drop is scheduled for 2 P.M.
