CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Northeastern linemates Maddie Mills and Maureen Murphy each notched two points on the evening as the no. 6 Huskies women's ice hockey team (6-2-0, 5-2-0 Hockey East) took down no. 4 Boston College (6-1-0, 4-1-0) by a score of 4-2 on Friday night in Conte Forum.

- Mills opened the scoring 10:10 into the first period on a breakaway 2-on-1 with Murphy where she scored on her own rebounded shot. Grad. student Lauren MacInnis picked up the secondary assist.

- The Huskies followed up that goal 17:35 into the period when grad. student Tessa Ward picked the pocket of a BC defender in the offensive zone and drove to the net; her shot left a rebound for junior Peyton Anderson who poked home her first of the season.

- NU's third goal came in the second period off a face-off that was collected by Mills and passed over to captain Brooke Hobson, who fired a wrist-shot into the top-right corner of the net to make the lead 3-0 16:11 into the period.

- The scoring was capped off by senior Mia Brown on her first of the season, 11:56 into the third period on the power play.

- Grad. student Aerin Frankel finished with 21 saves, keeping the Eagles at bay for two and a half periods.

- The Huskies have now won four straight meetings with the Eagles in Conte Forum.
