HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Jack McBain - Boston College
Senior Forward; Toronto, Ont.
McBain led Hockey East with nine assists and 14 points in eight
games played. His 1.75 points per game led the league. He had
three power play goals and at least one point in all eight games
he played in, including six multi-point outings for the Eagles.
His 14 points were fourth in the NCAA in October, while his nine
assists were tied for second.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Devon Levi - Northeastern
Goaltender; Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, Que.
Levi, who missed all of 2020-21 with injury, led the NCAA
with four shutouts in October. His .940 save percentage
was 11th in the nation and second best in Hockey East,
as was his 1.76 goals against average. He started all
eight games for Northeastern and is now tied for third on
the Northeastern leader board for shutouts in a season.

HOCKEY EAST DEFENDER OF THE MONTH
Guillaume Richard - Providence
Freshman; Quebec, Que.
No player in Hockey East had a better plus-minus rating
than Richard, who collected a plus-10 rating for the Friars
in the first month of his freshman campaign. The blueliner
began his NCAA career with a three-point (1g, 2a) outing
and helped anchor a defense that allowed zero goals. His
five points tied for third among all league defensemen and
he blocked nine shots.

STOP IT GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Owen Savory - UMass Lowell
Senior; Cambridge, Ont.
Savory was unbeaten for the River Hawks in October,
compiling a 3-0-1 record for UMass Lowell, including a
2-0-0 mark in Hockey East play. Both his goals against
average (1.23) and save percentage (.946) led all league
netminders in the first month of the 2021-22 season. Savory
was named Hockey East Goaltender of the Week on Nov. 1
after backboning a sweep of BU to open conference play.
