HOCKEY EAST HEADLINES
UConn's offense, led by junior forward Natalie Snodgrass (Eagan, Minn.) exploded for 12 goals to power the Huskies to a pair of wins, including a 5-2 drubbing of #5 Boston College. Snodgrass (Eagan, Minn.) tallied six points (3g, 3a) en route to helping the Huskies to a 2-0-0 week, including a five-point outing in a 7-0 win over Brown and another goal in UConn's win over the Eagles.
#10 Boston University earned a crucial 2-1 road win at Providence on Saturday. Rookie forward Julia Nearis (Beverly, Mass.) scored each goal for the Terriers in and now leads her squad with six goals, including five in her last four outings.
#4 Northeastern's Aerin Frankel (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) pitched her second consecutive shutout, and third shutout of the season, in a 6-0 win over Holy Cross. Frankel is currently riding a 154:04 streak without allowing a goal.
Merrimack's Mikyla Grant-Mentis (Brampton, Ont.) became just the second player in program history to reach the 100-point plateau on Friday, registering four points (2g, 2a), including the overtime winner, to lift Merrimack over Maine, 4-3.
Maine salvaged a weekend split, shutting out Holy Cross, 3-0, on Saturday thanks to a 28-save shutout from Carly Jackson (Amherst, N.S.). It was the Black Bears' fifth shutout of the year in just 10 games. The split was achieved with only 12 skaters on Maine's roster as the Black Bears were shorthanded due to injuries and international call ups.
Vermont and New Hampshire split a tightly-contested league series in Durham,
as the Wildcats took a 2-1 overtime victory on Friday before the Catamounts rebounded
for a 1-0 win behind a 25-save shutout from Blanka Škodová (Šternberk,
Czech Republic).

against New Hampshire, her
first of 2019-20, on Saturday.
The blank sheet came as part
of a 1-1-0 weekend where she
stopped 46 of 48 shots in a
two-game road trip against
the Wildcats where she
posted a 0.98 goals against
average and .958 save percentage
in 121:57 of work.
HOCKEY EAST TOP PERFORMERS
Delaney Belinskas, BC (Sr., F; Port Orange, Fla.) Netted two goals in a 5-2 setback to UConn to reach 75 career points. She now has two straight games with two goals for the Eagles.
Alexie Guay, BC (Fr., D; Magog, Que.) Pushed her personal point streak to eight games (1g, 8a) with an assist against UConn.
Corinne Schroeder, BU (Jr., G; Elm Creek, Man.) Made 26 saves, including 13 in the first period alone, to backend BU to a 2-1 victory at Providence. She allowed just one goal, on a power play redirection, and has yet to allow more than two goals in any of her eight starts.
Morgan Fisher, UConn (Sr., G: Vernon, Conn.) Stopped 27 of the 29 Boston College shots she faced on Saturday, helping the Huskies to a 5-2 victory over No. 5 Boston College. On the season, Fisher has accumulated a 2.02 GAA and a .914 save percentage.
Taylor Wabick, UConn (Jr., D; Winnipeg, Man.) Racked up five points (1g, 4a) during UConn's 2-0-0 week. Wabick provided three assists in the 7-0 shutout of the Brown Bears Tuesday night, then scored the Huskies' opening goal and later added an assist as UConn dealt Boston College their first defeat of the year.
Celine Tedenby, Maine (So., F; Örnsköldsvik, Sweden) Tallied three goals in two Hockey East match ups for Maine in a 1-1-0 weekend. She found the back of the net twice in a 4-3 overtime setback to Merrimack before adding another in 3-0 shutout of Holy Cross.
Amalie Anderson, Maine (Fr., D; Herning, Denmark) Recorded three assists, one for each of Maine's goals on Nov. 8 against Merrimack.
Carly Jackson, Maine (Sr., G; Amherst, N.S.) Recorded a 28-ssave shutout against Hockey East foe Holy Cross on Nov. 9. Maine dressed just 12 skaters for the game due to injuries and international call ups, making Jackson's shutout key to the 3-0 victory and picking up the Black Bears' fifth shutout of the year in 10 games.
Mikyla Grant-Mentis, MC (Sr., F; Brampton, Ont.) Grant-Mentis had two goals and two assists, including the overtime game-winning goal in the team's 4-3 OT victory over Maine on Friday. She has scored in six straight games for the Warriors. The game-winner was Grant-Mentis' 100th career point, making her the second Merrimack player to hit the milestone.
Ava Boutilier, UNH (So., G; Charlottetown, P.E.I.) Boutilier had a split 1-1-0 weekend against Vermont, stopping 44 of 47 shots on the weekend for a 0.99 GAA and .957 save percentage. She allowed just one goal in each game, a 2-1 overtime win and a 1-0 regulation loss.
Tessa Ward, NU (Jr., F; Galesburg, Mich.) Scored two goals for the Huskies in a 6-0 win over Holy Cross on Friday. Ward's two goals both came in the third period and marked her first multi-goal game
Megan Carter, NU (Fr., D; Milton, Ont.) Had two assists in the Huskies in a 6-0 win over Holy Cross. The freshman defenseman had her first multi-point performance for Northeastern and now has assists in back-to-back games.
Skylar Fontaine, NU (Jr., D; East Greenwich, R.I.) Had a goal and an assist in a 6-0 shutout victory over Holy Cross.
