NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - The Providence College women's hockey team shutout the Merrimack Warriors, 3-0, on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Lawler Rink in North Andover, Mass. Grace Shirley (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) and Kiara Kraft (Churchville, N.Y) led the Friars with two points each. Hope Walinski finished the night with 17 saves.

- The Friars got on board first when Kiara Kraft (Churchville, N.Y.) assisted Grace Shirley (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) to a goal one minute into the first period. - At 6:56 in the first period, Kraft scored the Friars' second goal with help from Maddy Coene (Clayton, N.Y.) and Lily Hendrikson (Edina, Minn.). - Lily Martinson (Allen, Texas) netted a goal at 16:07 in the second period to extend the Friars lead to 3-0. Hendrikson and Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) were each credited with an assist. - Both teams skated through the third period scoreless.
