BOSTON, Mass. - Junior Skylar Irving tallied two goals and graduate student Gywneth Philips posted 19 saves to lead the No. 13 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 4-0 victory over the Maine Black Bears on Saturday night.

- Under five minutes into the game, fifth year Katy Knoll got the scoring started for the Huskies. Knoll scored a power-play tally with assists from graduate student Peyton Anderson and sophomore Jules Constantinople.

- Irving doubled the Husky lead with her eighth goal of the season with under two minutes remaining in the first period. Irving's goal was assisted by Peyton Anderson and Knoll.

- In the second period, Irving claimed her second goal of the evening to push the Husky lead to 3-0. Irving's second tally came unassisted as she stripped Maine of the puck and fired it past Julia Bachetti. Following Irving's second goal, the Black Bears made a switch in net as Jorden Mattison entered the game at the 3:08 mark of the second period.

- Captain Megan Carter closed out the scoring with her first goal of the season on an empty-netter with under two minutes remaining to bring the final score to 4-0.

- Philips posted her sixth shutout of the season and 22nd of her career with 19 saves on the evening.

Northeastern will next face Boston College in a home-and-home series beginning on the road in Chestnut Hill on Friday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.
