PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's hockey team defeated Northeastern University, 3-1, on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. Mireille Kingsley (Sudbury, Ontario) finished the day with 16 saves.

- Northeastern struck first one minute into the first period when Taze Thompson scored with help from Jules Constantinople and Lily Shannon.
- Maddy Coene (Clayton, N.Y.) tied the score, 1-1, at the 10:04 mark of the first period. Lily Martinson (Allen, Texas) and Mégane Quirion (Saint-Eustache, Quebec) were each credited with an assist.
- Grace Shirley (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) gave the Friars a 2-1 lead with a goal at 6:11 in the second period. Coene and KC Brooks (Colorado Springs, Colo.) assisted the goal.
- A minute later, Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) netted a goal with help from Rachel Weiss (Calgary, Alberta) to improve Providence's lead to 3-1.
- Both teams skated through third period scoreless.
- Mireille Kingsley (Sudbury, Ontario) finished the day with 16 saves.
