STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team secured the 1-0 win over Northeastern Saturday night. Jada Habisch put in the lone goal for the Huskies to sweep the Northeastern Huskies in the home and home series. Goaltender Tia Chan also highlighted the night with 22 saves.

UConn rallied behind the lone goal as the Huskies put up 18 shots on goal to finally get one to go in the third period at 4:43 in the game. Riley Grimley charged down the ice to pass it to Jada Habisch with just a one-player defense to cover the back line. Jada Habisch would nail one in the back of the net to get the puck by the Northeastern Huskies and edge out the No. 13 ranked team.
