- The Friars struck 10:35 into the first period when Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) netted her first career goal. Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) and Hannah Johnson (Readfield, Maine) were each credited with an assist.

- Providence held a 1-0 lead into the third period after a scoreless second period.

- Quinnipiac's Julia Nearis tied the game 5:01 into the third period. Zoe Uens and Maya Labad assisted the play.
