MONTREAL, Que. - The Boston University women's ice hockey team posted a 5-2 win in its exhibition game at McGill on Saturday. Five individual Terriers scored in the victory in the program's first game on foreign soil.

Junior Ani FitzGerald lit the lamp for the Terriers just 3:13 into the opening frame to give BU the early lead. Sophomore Sydney Healey added to BU's total with a goal of her own in the second period. Despite BU's lead, McGill managed to tie things up 2-2 at the 17:39 mark in the second. The Terriers were sure to secure the lead once more before the period came to a close as sophomore Clara Yuhn found the back of the net with 0.6 seconds to go. BU controlled its fate through the third period as sophomore Brooke Disher and senior Catherine Foulem each added a goal to BU's lead, bringing the final score to 5-2.

Grad student Nadia Mattivi recorded two assists in the win on Yuhn and Foulem's goals. Freshman Ella Huntley added an assist on FitzGerald's lamp lighter, Healey earned a secondary assist on Yuhn's goal and sophomore Luisa Welcke helped on Disher's goal.

Both goaltenders for BU made their debut in the arched Boston. Freshman Mari Pietersen made nine saves in net while grad student Alexa Matses recorded five saves of her own to help the Terriers win in Montreal.
