Patrick Harper - Boston University
Senior Forward; New Canaan, Conn.

Harper led BU to a 2-0-0 record in December as the Terriers posted a pair of home wins over two ranked Beanpot rivals. The senior tallied five points (3g, 2a) and a plus-five rating over the two games. After a three-point night (1g, 2a) in a 5-2 win against the #9 Crimson, Harper added two goals in a 6-3 topping of the #8 Huskies. Harper had the second-most points in the league in December, just one off the lead. His three goals tied for the league lead, while his 1.50 goals per game and 2.50 points per game were tops among all skaters.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Jacques Bouquot - Vermont
Forward; South Windsor, Conn.

Bouquot was second in Hockey East and tied for first among Hockey East rookies with five points in December on two goals and three assist. The freshman forward also tied for fifth in Hockey East and first among rookies with a plus-five rating across four games in December. Assisted on two game-winning goals. Nationally, he tied for fourth with five points and his plus-five rating was best among any first-year player. He assisted on both game-winning goals in the Catamount Cup, helping lift Vermont to the tournament title to begin the second half of the 2019-20 season.

STOP IT GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Spencer Knight - Boston College
Freshman; Darien, Conn.

Knight backboned the Eagles to a pair of wins over #9 Notre Dame in a home-and-home series with the Irish in Boston College's only two games of December. The rookie netminder allowed just one goal, stopping 54 shots for a .981 save percentage. His month included a 27-save shutout on the road in South Bend, his fourth blank sheet in just 15 starts in his collegiate career. His shutout was the only one in the league in December. He ended the month on a nine-game winning streak before departing Chestnut Hill to serve as the starting goaltender of Team USA at the IIHF World Junior Championship.
