Jack Dugan - Providence
Sophomore Forward; Rochester, N.Y.

No skater in the NCAA had more points (14) or assists (10) than Dugan in the month of October. His 2.33 points per game leads all of Hockey East. In three Hockey East games, Dugan has posted two goals and seven assists. His six power-play assists also leads the nation. The sophomore forward also paces all Hockey East players in assists per game (1.67). Dugan registered multiple points in each game in which he appeared on the score sheet, including two two-point games, two three-point games and one four-point effort on Oct. 5.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Matt Brown - UMass Lowell
Forward; Wood Ridge, N.J.

UMass Lowell's Matt Brown posted nine points (3g, 6a) with a plus-three rating and 30 shots on goal in a 4-2-2 month of October for the River Hawks. His three goals, six assists, nine points lead all Hockey East rookies in the first month of the year. He helped his team stake a 3-2 win at then-#1 Minnesota Duluth with an assist and posted multiple points in three of his eight outings. His 30 shots on goal leads the nation. Brown notched at least a point in five contests in the month.

STOP IT GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Craig Pantano - Northeastern
Graduate Student; Bridgewater, Massachusetts

Pantano has been a steady presence between the pipes for the Huskies, recording a 4-1-1 start to his career in the Red and Black. His record includes a win over Hockey East rival and then-#4 UMass in the Huskies' home opener. In Northeastern's first clash with the Minutemen, Pantano posted a season-high 34 saves and allowed just one goal. Pantano currently leads the conference in all three goaltending categories with a .750 winning percentage, a .947 save percentage and a 1.32 GAA. Additionally, Pantano is currently ranked second in the nation in goals against average and has allowed more than one goal in only two starts.
