#10 Northeastern vs. #3 UMass (home and home)
- The two reigning Hockey East champions, #10 Northeastern and #3 Massachusetts, face off in a home and home series to wrap up their three-game regular season Hockey East series. The Huskies hold the advantage heading into the weekend after winning game one, 3-1, on Oct. 15 at Matthews Arena.
- The Huskies are back on east coast time after traveling to take on then-#14 St. Cloud for two games in a battle of previously undefeated programs. They took the first meeting, 4-1, before falling, 2-1, in the second.
- Freshman TJ Walsh (Shrewsbury, Mass.) was tabbed Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week after earning the first two points of his collegiate career when he dished out two assists in Northeastern's Friday night victory.
- Sophomore Tyler Madden (Deerfield Beach, Fla.) had another big weekend for Northeastern, scoring three goals during the two-game trip to St. Cloud. He now has five tallies on the year through six games.
- The Minutemen looks to extend their current three-game winning streak after defeating Western Mass rival, AIC, 4-1, in their lone game last the weekend. Jake Suter (Omaha, Neb.) had two helpers in the victory, pushing his point streak to three games. The senior has five assists in that span.
#7 Providence vs. Colgate, vs. #15 Boston College
- Providence is back on home ice both nights this weekend when they play host to Colgate and Boston College. This marks the first meeting between the Friars and Raiders since November 26, 2016, when they skated away with a 3-2 victory.
- The Friars and the Eagles faced off last Friday night at Conte Forum in their first of three meetings this season, with Nate Leaman's squad taking home a 6-2 victory to lead the series 1-0-0.
- Sophomore Jack Dugan (Rochester, N.Y.) led all Hockey East skaters with five points on the weekend. The forward had a goal and two assists against Boston College, before going on to dish out two more helpers in a 3-2 overtime loss to UMass Lowell, earning Hockey East Player of the Week honors along the way.
- Boston College travels to face New Hampshire and Providence over the weekend. The Eagles dropped their third straight when they fell to the Friars on Friday night. Junior Logan Hutsko (Tampa, Fla.) netted his 20th career goal for the maroon and gold during the 6-2 setback.
Merrimack vs. UConn (home and home)
- Merrimack and UConn hit the ice together twice this weekend when they face off in a home and home series. The two teams split their regular season series in conference action last year, 1-1-0, with each team's victory coming on home ice.
- The Warriors head into the weekend off of a 3-2 overtime loss to New Hampshire in their first Hockey ast match up of the season. Rookie Declan Carlile (Hartland, Mich.) recorded the first goal of his collegiate career and added an assist against the Wildcats, while freshman goaltender Jere Huhtamaa (Helsinki, Finland) recorded a career-best of 20 saves, 15 of which came in the final two periods
Maine vs. Boston University
- The Black Bears play host to the Terriers for two games in Hockey East play over the weekend. Maine took the regular season series between the two teams last season, 2-1-0, defeating the Terriers 3-1 on Nov. 16, and shutting them out, 6-0, on March 9.
- Maine is back on home ice after earning their first win in league play at Vermont over the weekend. They defeated the Catamounts, 2-1, with Jacob Schmidt-Svejstrup (Charlottenlund, Denmark) netting each goal for the Black Bears in the victory.
- Boston University skates into its second straight weekend of league play after taking three points in its first two Hockey East meetings of the season. The Terriers played UMass Lowell to a 3-3 overtime draw on Friday night, before shutting out New Hampshire, 3-0, on Saturday.
- Graduate student Sam Tucker (Wilton, Conn.) turned away 57 shots on the weekend, including 32 against the Wildcats to earn the first blank sheet of his Boston University career.
- Terrier senior Patrick Harper (New Canaan, Conn.) showed up big in Friday night's contest, contributing to all three goals for BU (2g, 1a).
New Hampshire vs. #15 Boston College, vs. Dartmouth
- New Hampshire plays on home ice for the first time in the 2019-20 season as Mike Souza's Wildcats welcome Boston College and Dartmouth to the Whittemore Center. The Wildcats dropped their regular season series with the Eagles last year, 0-1-1, but swept the Big Green in two meetings last December.
- The Wildcats sit at 1-1-0 in Hockey East play after defeating Merrimack, 3-2 in overtime, in the first conference game of the year. They then went scoreless against Boston University in a 3-0 setback. Junior defenseman Max Gildon (Plano, Texas) had a goal and an assist in Friday's victory.
Vermont vs. #17 UMass Lowell
- Vermont welcomes UMass Lowell for their two-game regular season series to kick off the month of November at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The two teams faced off three times last season, with the River Hawks taking the series, 2-0-1.
- The Catamounts look to right the ship after dropping a pair of games over the weekend. They fell to the Black Bears, 2-1, at home in their first Hockey East contest of the year, before being shutout, 4-0, on the road at then-#9 Quinnipiac in non-conference play. Sophomore Joey Cipollone (Purchase, N.Y.) was the only Vermont player to find the back of the net over the weekend, tallying the lone goal in Friday night's loss.
- UMass Lowell kicked off league play with a pair of overtime battles. The River Hawks scored three unanswered goals in a come-from-behind effort that ended in a 3-3 draw with Boston University on Friday night, before rookie Carl Berglund (Hammarö, Sweden) netted the first game-winning goal of his career to lift his squad past the Friars, 3-2, in the extra frame on Saturday.
- Senior backstop Tyler Wall (Leamington, Ont.) was named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week after turning away a total of 73 shots on the weekend, including a season-high 40 in Saturday's victory.
