WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Hockey East announced today that Merrimack junior forward Sami Tavernier (Morzine, France) has been suspended for one game stemming from an incide nt at 16:05 of the first period on Saturday, October 27 against Massachusetts. Tavernier will miss the game on Friday, November 2 against Boston College and be eligible to return to the Warriors' lineup Saturday, Novembe r 3 at Boston College.
