GAME RECAP

- New Hampshire struck first 7:52 into the first period on a breakaway chance from Grace Middletion (Midland, Mich.) and Nicole Dunbar. Middleton skated the puck down the nearside boards, and sent a cross-ice pass through traffic Dunbar who was crashing the net, and snuck the puck to a wide-open stick side.

- Dartmouth upped its shot total in the second, outshooting the Wildcats 12-10 as opposed to a 10-4 disadvantage in the first. UNH managed two more goals in the second period on its 10 shots.

- The Wildcats tallied their next goal 9:31 into the second frame; another breakaway was led this time by Taylor Wenczkowski (Rochester, N.H.), Emily Rickwood (Brantford, Ontario) and Meghara McManus. Wenczkowski passed the puck to Rickwood in the middle, and the puck bounced off her skate and a Dartmouth skate to a waiting McManus on the glove side of Wormsbecher for the 2-0 lead.

- The 'Cats tallied another 18 minutes into the period on a power play; a shot by Carlee Turner (Scottsdale, Ariz.) was saved by Wormsbecher but the rebound went right to Martin on the glove-side red line and she put the puck back into the net for the 3-0 lead.

- Dartmouth got a goal back in the third period as Catherine Trevors intercepted a pass in the neutral zone and skated it in unassisted seven minutes into the final frame.
