AROUND HOCKEY EAST: Boston College took a 2-0-1 record in three games last week, including a 4-2 win at Vermont, as senior goaltender Katie Burt (Lynn, Mass.) tied the record for most Women's Hockey East regular-season wins by a goaltender (52). Caitrin Lonergan (Roslindale, Mass.) had eight points (4g, 4a), including her first career hat trick, and Daryl Watts (Toronto, Ont.) piled up nine points (3g, 6a) for the Eagles. Watts is tied for the national scoring lead with 14 points through five games ... New Hampshire pushed its record to 4-0-1 on the year with a pair of wins over Vermont and Dartmouth. Meghara McManus (Milton, Mass.) scored twice and added an assist in the 5-4 overtime win against Vermont, including the game-tying goal with 12 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime. She compiled eight points (3g, 5a) on the weekend ... Northeastern swept Syracuse in a two-game stint. Brittany Bugalski (Boynton Beach, Fla.) stopped 47 of 49 shots in two wins over the weekend and did not allow an even-strength goal in a pair of 5-1 victories ... Boston University got its first league win of the season, a 6-2 victory over UConn Sunday. Rookie netminder Corinne Schroeder (Elm Creek, Man.) made her first start Sunday, kicking out 26 shots to earn her first win ... Providence skated to a pair of 2-2 draws with Princeton. Cassidy MacPherson (Oakville, Ont.) scored both Friars' goals in Saturday's contest and chipped in an assist on Friday ... Merrimack welcomed Penn State for a pair at Lawler Rink, the Warriors taking a 1-1-0 record on the weekend. Paige Sorensen (Plymouth, Minn.) netted the game-winning goal in overtime in Friday's 2-1 victory.

MEGHARA MCMANUS - NEW HAMPSHIRE

Meghara McManus (Milton, Mass.) racked up eight points (3g, 5a) in a pair of wins over Vermont and Dartmouth. She scored twice and added an assist in a 5-4 overtime win against Vermont, including the game-tying goal with 12 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime and then had a goal and four assists in a 6-1 victory over Dartmouth.

DARYL WATTS - BOSTON COLLEGE

Daryl Watts (Toronto, Ont.) piled up nine points (3g, 6a), the most in the nation this week, including two four-point games against Quinnipiac (1g, 3a) and Vermont (1g, 3a). After the weekend, she is tied for the national scoring lead with 14 points through five games.

ANNIE BELANGER - UCONN

Annie Belanger (Sherbrooke, Que.) stopped a season-high 45 shots against #3 Boston College, earning a 2-2 draw against a team that was previously unbeaten and untied. On the weekend, Belanger stopped 81 total shots in two games against league opponents in 120:00 of play.

HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS

Caitrin Lonergan, BC (So., F; Roslindale, Mass.) Tied for second in the country with eight points (4g, 4a) to help the Eagles to a 2-0-1 record last week. She scored her first career hat trick and chipped in an assist in a 4-2 win at Vermont Sunday.

Katie Burt, BC (Sr., G; Lynn, Mass.) Tied the Hockey East career wins record (52) with a 20-save outing Sunday at Vermont after stopping 28 shots in a 2-2 tie at UConn Friday and 24 pucks in a 4-2 triumph over Quinnipiac. She earned 1.97/.923 numbers in 185:00 of work.

Rebecca Leslie, BU (Sr., F; Ottawa, Ont.) Picked up her second career hat trick in a 6-2 win over UConn and added an assist.

Nara Elia, BU (Fr., F; Saskatoon, Sask.) Scored a goal in each of BU's two games, opening the scoring in a 6-2 win over UConn Sunday.

Corinne Schroeder, BU (Fr., G; Elm Creek, Man.) Made her first start Sunday, kicking out 26 shots to earn a win against UConn.

Leah Lum, UConn (Sr., F; Richmond, B.C.) Scored twice in two games last weekend and has now scored in four of her last five games.

Denisa Krizova, NU (Sr., F; Horni Cerekev, Czech Republic) Had four points (1g, 3a) in a sweep of Syracuse, including an assist on the game-winning goal in Saturday's 5-1 victory. Three of her four points came on the power-play.

Veronika Pettey, NU (Fr., F; Potomac, Md.) Registered four points (2g, 2a), including a game-winning goal, in a sweep of the Orange. Friday marked her first three-point (2g, 1a) outing in a 5-1 win.
