WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Eleven players with ties to Hockey East representing four different schools were selected in the National Women's Hockey League Entry Draft Thursday night, accounting for more than half of the 20-player draft. It was the third annual entry draft for the NWHL since the league's inception in 2015, featuring the Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale and New York Riveters. A full list of selected players can be found below.

Boston College goaltender Katie Burt (Lynn, Mass.) was selected first overall by the Boston Pride, marking the first time a netminder was chosen with the top pick.
