#10 Boston University at Penn State

- Boston University hits the road for the fourth straight weekend, traveling to Penn State for two games. The programs met last season for a weekend series at Walter Brown Arena that saw the home Terriers go 0-1-1 against the visiting Nittany Lions.

- Boston University earned four points in Hockey East play on the road last weekend, shutting out UConn, 1-0, and defeating Maine, 3-1, at Alfond Arena. Junior goaltender Corrine Schroeder (Elm Creek, Man.) was named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week after turning away 65 shots on the weekend, including 38 against the Huskies on Friday to earn her first blank sheet of the season.


#6 Boston College vs. Holy Cross, vs. Maine

- Boston College continues an 11-games run of Hockey East opponents as the Eagles welcome Holy Cross and Maine to Conte Forum. This marks the second of three meetings between the Eagles and Crusaders, the first of which resulted in a 6-0 Eagles victory. Meanwhile, it's the first time they have faced the Black Bears since sweeping the three-game regular season series in 2018-19.

- The Eagles resumed Hockey East play over the weekend when they faced off against Merrimack and Vermont. They shut out the Warriors 8-0, which was good for their first regular season series sweep of the year and topped Vermont, 3-2, on the road. Senior captain Lindsay Agnew (Oakville, Ont.) posted a career high five points in Friday's game against the Warriors, netting a hat trick and adding two assists en route to being name Hockey East Co-Player of the Week.

- Maine is on the road for two games after dropping four points in their first two league meetings of the season. The Black Bears fell to Northeastern 6-1 and Boston University 3-1. Tereza Vanišová (Strakonice, Czech Republic) scored the lone goal in each game.


Merrimack vs. Vermont

- Merrimack welcomes Vermont for two league tilts at Lawler Rink. The Warriors took the three-game regular season series with the Catamounts last year, 2-1-0, including wins of 2-1 and 4-1, before dropping the third and final meeting, 5-4.

- The Warriors fell to 0-4-1 in league play in 2019-20 after suffering an 8-0 shutout by Boston College and dropping a 4-3 overtime decision to UConn last weekend. Mikyla Grant-Mentis (Brampton, Ont.) netted two goals and dished out an assist against the Huskies.


Providence vs. #3 Northeastern, vs. New Hampshire

- The Friars look to snap a three-game winless streak (0-1-2) as they kick off Hockey East play against Northeastern and New Hampshire. Friday will be the first time that Providence has hit the ice with Northeastern since last year's Hockey East semifinals, a 3-2 win for the Huskies en route to winning their second straight Bertagna Trophy.

- Providence enters the weekend after a 0-1-1 stint against Penn State on home ice. They fell, 4-2, in the first meeting, before playing to a 2-2 overtime draw. Maureen Murphy (Buffalo, N.Y.) posted three points (2g, 1a) on the weekend, including netting the game-tying goal on the power play with just under two minutes to go in Saturday's stalemate.

- The Huskies started 2-0-0 in league play, defeating Maine, 6-1, on the road and taking a 4-1 decision on home ice against New Hampshire. Alina Mueller (Winterthur, Switzerland) was named Hockey East Player of the Week for the second week in a row after racking up six points through the two games, finding the back of the net twice and adding four helpers.


New Hampshire vs. Maine, at Providence

- New Hampshire is in the middle of a 12-game stretch of Hockey East contests when they welcome Maine on Friday and travel to Providence on Saturday. During the 2018-19 season, the Wildcats took their three-game regular season series with the Black Bears, 2-1-0, and fell in the series with the Friars, 1-2-0.

- The Wildcats went 0-1-1 during their most recent series, including a come-from-behind 3-3 draw in which the Wildcats erased an early three-goal deficit. Freshman goaltender Nikki Harnett (Plymouth, Minn.) made her NCAA debut in relief against the Catamounts and turned away all 19 shots faced in 46:22 of play to help secure the tie. The backstop was named Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week for her efforts.


UConn vs. Colgate, vs. TBD (Ice Breaker Tournament - Buffalo, NY)

- After four Hockey East contests in a row, the Huskies head to Buffalo, New York for the inaugural Women's Ice Breaker Tournament. They will face Colgate in the opening round, before taking on Mercyhurst or Minnesota Duluth the next day.

- UConn hits the road after a weekend split in league play. The Huskies were shutout by Boston University, 1-0, before defeating Merrimack, 4-3, in overtime action. Junior Natalie Snodgrass (Eagan, Minn.) struck with just over a minute to go in the extra frame to seal the victory against the Warriors.


Holy Cross at #6 Boston College, vs. RPI

- Holy Cross continues its quest for the first victory of the season when the Crusaders face #6 Boston College for the second of a three-game regular season series on Saturday and RPI on Sunday. The Crusaders were shutout by the Eagles, 6-0, in their first meeting of the year on October 3.

- Sunday marks the first time Holy Cross will face the Engineers since the two teams played to a 1-1 overtime draw last season on October 6, 2018.


Vermont at Merrimack, vs. Dartmouth

- Vermont is slated for a busy weekend as the Catamounts take the ice for three games in five days. Jim Plumer's squad hits the road to take on league opponent Merrimack for two games, before returning to Gutterson Fieldhouse to do battle with Dartmouth on Tuesday night.

- The Catamounts fell to the Warriors twice last year, before skating away with a 5-4 victory in their final meeting of the season. They also dropped a 3-1 decision on the road at Dartmouth in their only clash of the 2018-19 season.

- The Catamounts earned one of four possible points in Hockey East play over the weekend, playing to a 3-3 overtime draw with New Hampshire, before falling to Boston College, 3-2. The loss on Sunday was Vermont's first of the season as the Catamounts began the year on a five-game unbeaten run and now sit at 2-1-3 overall.
