Vermont's Sneddon Suspended One Game

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Hockey East commissioner Joe Bertagna has suspended University of Vermont head men's hockey coach Kevin Sneddon for one game as a result of inappropriate behavior directed to wards game officials in last Saturday's home game against Providence.

"Coach Sneddon has admitted that he lost his composure on the bench," said Bertagna."He has accepted full responsibility for his actions and has already offered a formal a pology to the on-ice officials."

Sneddon will miss Friday night's game at the University of Connecticut. He will be able to return to the bench on Saturday evening when the Catamounts visit the University of Massachusetts.
