Sophomore forward Chloé Aurard scored a hat trick and two assists for the Huskies

BOSTON, Mass. - Behind five-point performances from Chloe Aurard and Katy Knoll, the No. 4 Northeastern women's hockey team defeated Holy Cross, 11-0, on Friday night at Matthews Arena. The 11-0 shutout victory is the Huskies' largest shutout victory since Dec. 30, 1999, when Northeastern defeated Wisconsin, 15-0.

14 Huskies recorded a point in the victory and eight players had multi-point performances for Northeastern (13-2-0, 10-2-0 HEAW). Aurard netted her first career hat trick and poured in two assists for her five-point performance, while Katy Knoll added in one goal and four assists for her five-point outing.

The last time two Northeastern players had a five-point game was on Jan. 16, 2016 against Maine, where Kendall Coyne and Denisa Krizova poured in five points. Knoll had the first four assist game for the Huskies, since Aurard chipped in four on Nov. 10, 2018 against New Hampshire.

Lauren MacInnis scored her first collegiate goal and added on another and an assist for good measure, for a three-point outing. Alina Mueller contributed four points on the day and Skylar Fontaine added three to the final scorebook. Brooke Hobson recorded her 50th career point off an assist on MacInnis' goal.

Freshman goaltender Gwyneth Philips made her second career start and notched her second career shutout, as she made 24 saves on the evening. Holy Cross' (2-11-3, 2-8-0 HEAW) two goaltenders made a combined 33 saves.
