BOSTON, Mass. - Freshman goaltender Gwyneth Philips notched a 22-save shutout to backstop the No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 4-0 victory over UConn on Friday night at Matthews Arena.

Philips made her third start in goal and picked up her third shutout in the victory. The freshman has not given up a goal in over 184 minutes of action this season. The Huskies (18-3-1, 15-2-0 HEAW) have now claimed a shutout victory in the past three games.

Northeastern will close out the series against UConn tomorrow, Jan. 18 at 3 p.m at the Freitas Ice Forum.
