Northeastern's Levi and Frankel Receive National Honors For November
Levi Named Nation's Top Rookie; Frankel Recognized For Second Straight Month as Co-Goaltender

Here are the women’s and men’s monthly honorees and runners-up for November as chosen by the Hockey Commissioners Association.


Women’s Player of the Month: Taylor Heise, SR Forward, Minnesota (Lake City, MN)

Went 8-8-16 (2.67 PPG) in November’s six games, and earned a plus-15 rating on the ice. Heise had five multi-point games and two multi-goal games on the way to extending a 13-game point streak. She scored her second career hat trick on Nov. 12 against RIT. After adding two shorthanded goals in November, Heise leads the nation in shorthanded goals with three. She took zero penalties and led all Minnesota forwards in ice time.

Emma Seitz, JR D, Yale(9 GP, 9-6-15, 1.66 PPG)


Men’s Player of the Month: Owen Sillinger, SR Forward, Bemidji State (Regina, SK)

Sillinger had multiple points in five of his six games, finishing the month with a line of 7-7-14, good for 2.33 points per game. BSU went 4-2-0 on the month.

Ethen Frank, GR F, Western Michigan(Papillion, NE) (8 GP, 9-4-13, 1.44 PPG)


Women’s Rookie of the Month: Tindra Holm, FR G, Long Island U.(Skellefteå, Sweden)

Played in five games in November, logging 143 saves and a .960 save per- centage alongside a 1.18 goals-against average. Helped LIU to a 4-1 record with the one loss coming to nationally-ranked Yale in overtime, making 54 saves in that game. Overall, Holm has a 1.68 goals-against average on the season, alongside a .947 save percentage

Abby Newhook, FR F, Boston College(St. John’s, Newfoundland) (7 GP, 4-4-8, 1.1 PPG)
Haley Winn, FR D, Clarkson(Rochester, NY) (8 GP, 2-7-9, 1.1 PPG)


Men’s Rookie of the Month: Devon Levi, SO* Goalie, Northeastern (Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, PQ)

Levi earned Hockey East Rookie of the Month honors for the second consec-utive month. He led the Huskies to a 6-1-1 record in his eight starts, compiling a 1.11 goals against average and a .959 save percentage. He had six games allowing one goal or less and shut out Boston University, 1-0, on the road.
*Levi did not play a minute last year, his freshman year.

Runner-Up:
Austin Swankler, Bowling Green, FR F(North Huntington, PA) (8 GP, 4-8-12. 1.5 ppg)


Women’s Co-Goaltender of the Month: Aerin Frankel, GR Goalie, Northeastern (Briarcliff Manor, NY)

Frankel repeats as Co-Goalie of the Month with even better numbers than in October. She led the Huskies to a 6-0-1 record and allowed a stingy 0.85 goals per game with a save percentage of .964. Two of her wins were shut-outs.


Women’s Co-Goaltender of the Month: : Jenna Silvonen, JR Goalie, Mercyhurst (Lojha, Finland)

Silvonen went 3-0-1 for Mercyhurst, with an impressive .940 save percentage and a 1.47 GAA.

Runner-Up:
Rachel McQuigge, SR G, Princeton(Bowmanville, ON) (1.73, .950, 2-4-1)


Men’s Goaltender of the Month: Ryan Fanti, JR Goalie, Minnesota Duluth (Thunder Bay, ON)

Fanti topped a strong group of nominees with a 1.00 GAA and .957 save percentage while going 5-2-1 against a tough slate that included four games against Western Michigan and North Dakota.
