Merrimack, UConn Skate to 2-2 Draw

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - After a statement win Friday night, the Merrimack College women's ice hockey program erased a two-goal deficit in the second period of Saturday afternoon's contest, tying Connecticut 2-2 in the regular season series finale. With the tie, Merrimack's point earned draws level with Providence for fourth place in Hockey East standings.

Freshman Gabby Jones hit the back of the net one minute into the frame, and senior Jessica Bonfe fired a laser from just outside the far faceoff circle to level the game eight minutes later.
