GAME FLOW & NOTES

- Christina Putigna (Grimsby, Ontario) got the Friars on the board midway through the first period. Meaghan Rickard (Coventry, R.I.) played the puck out from behind the net and Putigna was able to slam it home for her seventh goal of the year.

- The Friars outshot the Wildcats 17-7 in the first period.

- Blair Parent (Blaine, Minn.) increased the Friars' lead to 2-0 with a short-handed goal at the 5:20 mark of the second period. Cassidy MacPherson (Oakville, Ontario) played a pass across the slot that Parent was able to redirect over the leg pad of Ava Boutilier.

- Maureen Murphy (Buffalo, N.Y.) extended her goal scoring streak to four games with a goal just 3:37 into the third period. Chloe Gonsalves (Toronto, Ontario) played the puck off the boards to Murphy who took a shot from just inside the blue line. MacPherson picked up her second assist of the day and 12th of the season on the play as well.

- Madison Myers (Colchester, Vt.) made 26 saves in her second-consecutive shutout.

- The Friars finished the day with a 6-for-6 mark on the penalty kill.
