DURHAM, N.H. - Sophomore forward Nicole Dunbar (Coto de Caza, Calif.) rallied in overtime to push the University of New Hampshire women's hockey team past Northeastern on Friday night at the Whittemore Center.
It was the Wildcats' second win in overtime this season; they now have a 2-0-5 record when games go to the extra period.
Junior goaltender Kyra Smith (Littleton, Colo.) saw her first action of the season, stopping 29 shots with a 1-0-0 record.
The two teams will face off again Sunday at Matthews Arena in Boston. Puck drop is at 2 p.m.

GAME RECAP
- The first period went scoreless as Northeastern out-shot New Hampshire 11-6.
- Sophomore forward Meghara McManus (Milton, Mass.) put the Wildcats on the board first 3:22 into the second period with a wrist shot from in front of Bugalski's stick side off of a pass from sophomore Carlee Turner (Scottsdale, Ariz.).
- Northeastern's Tori Sullivan evened the score off of a pass from McKenna Brand 59 seconds into the second period.
- The third period went scoreless as New Hampshire had a 13-10 advantage on shots.
- Dunbar scored with 52 seconds remaining in the overtime period to put the Wildcats on top. Dunbar stole the puck in behind Northeastern's net and made a wrap-around shot through Bugalski's legs.
