BOSTON - Mallory Rushton converted a penalty shot in overtime to give RIT a 2-1 victory over the Boston University women's ice hockey team on Saturday afternoon at Agganis Arena.

GOAL-BY-GOAL

= Claudia Black opened the scoring for RIT at the 8:10 mark of the second period when she notched a power-play goal.

- Junior Mary Grace Kelley answered for the Terriers nearly five minutes later when she roofed a shot into the top left corner for her third goal of the season.

- Freshmen Nara Elia and Kristina Schuler assisted on Kelley's goal.

- Rushton secured the victory for the Tigers with a successful penalty shot just 24 seconds into overtime.

SHOOTING GALLERY

- BU attemped 97 total shots, with 51 of them landing on target.

- Terra Lanteigne made 50 saves for the Tigers.

SCHROEDER STRONG, TOO

- Freshman Corinne Schroeder made 23 saves for the Terriers, including a crucial stop on a third-period breakaway to keep the game tied.
