NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Junior captain Marie Delarbre (Fussen, Germany) scored the first two goals of her career while freshmen goaltender Samantha Ridgewell (Outlook, Saskatchewan) made a season-high 47 saves in net as the Warriors picked up their second win and the program's first non-conference win over Colgate on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
The Warriors would be the first team to find the back of the net in the game as freshman Paige Voight (St. Michael, Minn.) would score her third of the season on a gritty rebound goal right in front of the net. Freshman Jessica Bonfe (Woodbury, Minn.) got the play started with a shot on goal that would leave a juicy rebound. Freshman Katelyn Rae (Courtice, Ontario) would force that rebound underneath the goaltender, and Voight would put the loose puck in the crease into the net to put the Warriors up 1-0 ten minutes in.
Colgate would answer with a power-play goal five minutes later, tying the game up at one as the teams headed to the first intermission.
Despite being the only Warrior to play collegiate hockey before this season, Delarbre was still looking for her first career score entering Saturday. She would get it at 12:17 in the second period on a great individual effort, carrying the puck up ice and putting it through a defender's legs, giving herself space. She then fired a shot on net that would be saved, but Delarbre followed her shot and crashed the net hard and was able to push the rebound past the tender and into the goal for the lone goal of the middle period.
The Raiders would answer 2:42 into the third to once again even the score up, but Delarbre would not let that last long. After some quality cycling in the corner from her freshman line mates Emily Volpe (Whitby, Ontario) and Madison Morey (Fairbanks, Alaska), Volpe would find Delarbre in front of the net. Delarbre's initial shot would be stopped, but she would once again corral her own rebound and find the back of the net for her second of the game.
Merrimack would get their insurance goal at 11:42 in the final period on the first-career goal for freshman defenseman Meghan Martin (Newport, Vt.). After a turnover in the offensive zone, Martin would find the puck heading right towards her just inside the blue line. She would quickly fire a wrist shot right on net that surprise the goaltender and would sneak in for the fourth and final goal for the Warriors.

- After another huge performance on Saturday, Ridgewell is now up to 230 saves on the season. That total is third most in the country.
- Voight's third goal of the season Saturday improves her line to 3-5-8. She is tied for the team-lead in goals, and leads her squad in assists and points. She is tied for ninth in the nation among rookies in points per game with 1.00
- Nearly a third of goals scored on the Warriors this season have been power-play goals, as 10 of the 31 goals opponents have scored have come on the man-advantage
