Tutino tallying a point in five straight games (5g, 5a).

Junior Sarah Lefort and freshman Victoria Bach also lit the lamp while freshman Rebecca Leslie, senior Shannon Doyle and juniors Alexis Woloschuk and Jordan Juron each added an assist. Sophomore goaltender Victoria Hanson was sharp on Wednesday and made 21 saves to improve to 9-3-1 on the season. She received ample help from the team in front of her, as the Terriers blocked 19 shots, led by Doyle, Tutino and junior Rebecca Russo with three apiece.

Bach put the Terriers ahead just 5:26 into the proceedings. Juron gloved down the puck and got it to Leslie in the neutral zone. The freshman forward skated into the Quinnipiac zone and dropped the puck back to her classmate. Bach did the rest as she streaked up the left wing and ripped a shot past Chelsea Laden (22 saves) for her 11th goal of the season.

With both teams down a player, the Bobcats were whistled for another minor at the 13:12 mark and the Terriers took advantage 15 seconds later. Doyle cycled the puck to Poulin at the right circle, and the senior captain quickly sent a cross-ice pass to Tutino at the opposite dot. Tutino made no mistake to score her fourth goal in as many games.

Ice was at a premium in the second stanza as both teams limited one another to a combined 13 shots on goal. The best chance of the frame came with about 12 minutes to play when the Bobcats' Nicole Kosta received a lengthy outlet pass and skated in alone on Hanson. The sophomore netminder was equal to the task, however, and kept Kosta off the score sheet.

It took just 37 seconds for Lefort to give BU a 3-0 lead in the final frame. Tutino and Poulin combined to win the puck just outside the Quinnipiac zone, and Poulin faked a shot before she found Lefort in the slot. Laden stopped Lefort's initial effort, but the nation's leading goal scorer a season ago capitalized on the rebound for her 15th goal of the season.

Quinnipiac scored moments after Lefort's marker to cut the deficit to 3-1, but Poulin made it a 4-1 game with 11:32 remaining in regulation. Woloschuk had the puck at the left point and sent a pass along the wall that Tutino reached behind the Quinnipiac cage. She dished it to Poulin, who wrapped around the cage and lifted the puck over Laden's left shoulder for her 16th strike of the season.

The Terriers will return to league play this weekend when they host Vermont on Saturday and Sunday. The team will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday before hosting its annual Skating Strides against Breast Cancer game on Sunday. Both contests will commence at 3 p.m.
