Hanover, N.H. - Junior Melissa Bizzari scored her first goal of the season and assisted on another as the No. 5 women's hockey team (4-3-2. 3-2-1 WHEA) skated to a 3-3 tie against Dartmouth (4-1-1, 3-1-0 ECAC) Monday night. Reagan Fischer's two third period goals, including the tying goal with 1:16 remaining, completed the comeback for the Big Green.

Megan Miller stopped 28 shots as she improved to 1-2-2 on the season while Lindsay Holdcroft stopped 22 shots as she improved to 3-0-1.

The Eagles carried the play for most of the period as they outshot the Big Green 12-5 in the opening frame. Dartmouth jumped on top at 8:37 as Lisa Berreman's blast from the point found its way through a screen and beat Megan Miller on the power play. Miller was sharp early on as she thwarted a 2-on-1 and a point blank shot to keep the deficit to one. BC notched the equalizer at 14:43 as Melissa Bizzari (1) put a rebound back from a Dru Burns shot past goaltender Lindsay Holdcroft. The assist was senior defenseman Dru Burns' first point of the season.

BC once again controlled the start of the second period as the Big Green was struggling to clear their zone. At 5:21, Emily Pfalzer broke through the Dartmouth defense and slipped a backhand feed to Haley Skarupa (5) as she one-timed it past Holdcroft to put the Eagles up 2-1. BC continued its success on the power play this season as Emily Field (4) buried a cross crease pass from Ashley Motherwell at 10:45 to give the Eagles a two goal cushion.

Dartmouth carried the play in the third period as they outshot the Eagles 13-5 in the final stanza. Reagan Fischer cut the lead to 3-2 at 5:02 and then netted the equalizer at 18:44. BC outshot Dartmouth 3-1 in overtime but couldn't get anything by Holdcroft as the game ended in a 3-3 tie.
