Senior forward Kelli Stack scored two goals for the Eagles

Three first period goals and a final tally in the last frame earned Boston College a 4-2 win over Dartmouth on Wednesday, November 24.

BC improves to 9-2-4 while Dartmouth falls to 6-4-0.

The Eagles came out on a mission, scoring three goals before the end of the first frame. Melissa Bizzari made the first mark, nailing a shot at 4:43 from Meagan Mangene and Caitlin Walsh.

Kelli Stack followed with two more goals, first at 6:07 with assists from Bizzari and Alison Szlosek and again at 19:03 from Dru Burns and Mangene to close out the opening period with a resounding 3-0 start.

The Big Green responded at 15:12 in the second, recording a late period tally to get on the board and narrow the score to 3-1.

Taylor Wasylk added another insurance goal at 14:08 in the third, off passing from Mary Restuccia and Ashley Motherwell. The Big Green scored its second goal of the game with under a minute left, but it was not enough to snatch a win away from the Eagles.

Molly Schaus made an impressive 27 saves in between the pipes to keep Dartmouth at bay.

Next up, the Eagles will travel to New Hampshire for a Hockey East conference contest on Sunday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m.

Game Notes: Kelli Stack scored her 15th and 16th goals of the season...both Meagan Mangene and Melissa Bizzari had double assists... Drun Burns and Alison Szlosek scored their second assists of the season... it was Molly Schaus' 65th career win, ninth this season...this is only BC's second win against Dartmouth in the all-time series...the last time the Eagles won was on March 10, 2007 in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
