BU junior Jenn Wakefield scored her fourth game-winning goal of the season

Coming off Saturday's high scoring game, the Boston College women's hockey team played a much closer second game in the series against Boston University, losing 1-0 on Sunday, November 21 at Kelley Rink.

The Terriers made the first and only mark at 12:29 in the first period when Jenn Wakefield scored unassisted to give BU the go-ahead lead and eventual win.

BC had several opportunities to score but were unable to capitalize as BU's Kerrin Sperry saved 22 shots in goal to shut out the Eagles.

BU held a slight 23-22 advantage in shots, while Molly Schaus saved 22 shots in between the pipes for BC.

Next up, the Eagles will host Dartmouth College at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24.

Game Notes: Today's game marks the first time in the season that BC has not scored any points... BC and BU split the first series of the season...they will meet again in Conte Forum on January 15... Molly Schaus was awarded the #2 Star of the Game.
