AROUND HOCKEY EAST: Vermont went on the road to #5 Minnesota and earned its first regular-season win since Nov. 10, when the Catamounts topped then-#3 Clarkson in Burlington. Vermont rookie forward Alyssa Holmes (Burlington, Ont.) scored her first two collegiate goals, including the game-winning strike, and had an assist Friday's 4-2 win over the Gophers on Friday while goaltender Sydney Scobee (Minnetrista, Minn.) stopped 24 shots to pick up the win ... Northeastern went 2-1-0 in league play last week, including a weekend split with #2 Boston College. The Huskies have now topped the first and second ranked programs in the polls this season (Wisconsin, Nov. 24). McKenna Brand (Nevis, Minn.) racked up six points (1g, 5a) and became the 28th player in program history to reach the 100-point milestone ... #10 Maine pushed its unbeaten streak to nine games with a 5-1 win at Merrimack on Saturday. Tereza Vanisova (Strakonice, Czech Republic) recorded a goal and an assist in the win and moved into the ninth spot on the national scoring leader board. The Warriors' Katelyn Rae (Courtice, Ont.) racked up four points (3g, 1a) in two games last week, scoring twice and adding an assist in a 4-2 win against UNH including a short-handed tally. She also scored the Warriors' only goal in a 5-1 loss to #10 Maine ... BC's Toni Ann Miano (Bronx, N.Y.) became the first Eagles' defenseman to score four goals in a game when she did so on Saturday, scoring a first-period hat trick and securing the 5-4 win at Northeastern with an overtime strike ... UConn earned its first win in league play Saturday at New Hampshire. Theresa Knutson (Onalaska, Wis.) scored two goals in a weekend split with the Wildcats for her 45th and 46th markers of her career. That total is the fourth-highest in program history and just one back of tying for third all-time for the Huskies ... New Hampshire freshman goaltender Ava Boutilier (Charlottetown, P.E.I.) went 1-1-0 on the week, including a career high 39 saves in a 3-1 win over UConn Sunday. ... #7 Providence and Boston University split a home-and-home series that saw Friars' rookie Maureen Murphy (Buffalo, N.Y.) score her first career hat trick Saturday as part of a 6-3 win over the Terriers. Victoria Bach (Milton, Ont.), returning to the Terriers' lineup for the first time since Dec. 9, scored a goal and an assist in each game of the split with #7 Providence.

MCKENNA BRAND = NORTHEASTERN

McKenna Brand (Nevis, Minn.) tied for the league lead in points (1g, 5a) as she reached the 100-point plateau in a 2-1-0 week for the Huskies. She became the 28th player in program history to reach the 100-point mark as she scored the game-winning goal Tuesday over UConn as part of a two-point outing, chipped in with an assist in Northeastern's 4-2 win at #2 Boston College and added three more helpers in a 5-4 overtime setback to the Eagles.

TONI ANN MIANO - BOSTON COLLEGE

Toni Ann Miano (Bronx, N.Y.) became the first-ever Boston College defenseman to score four goals in a game Sunday, scoring three times in the first period before securing a 5-4 win for the Eagles in overtime.

HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS

Makenna Newkirk, BC (Jr., F; Scottsdale, Ariz.) Racked up six points (1g, 5a) as she factored in on six of the Eagles' seven goals in a split with Northeastern.

Daryl Watts, BC (Fr., F; Toronto, Ont.) Added a pair of two-point outings to post four points (1g, 3a) in a split with NU to become the first played in the country to reach 60 points on the year.

Victoria Bach, BU (Sr., F; Milton, Ont.) Scored a goal and an assist in each game of a split with #7 Providence.

Nara Elia, BU (Fr., F; Saskatoon, Sask.) Netted two tallies in Friday's 5-1 win over Providence, her first career two-goal game.

Abbey Stanley, BU (R-So., D; St. Louis, Mo.) Dished out a career-high three helpers in Friday's victory against the Friars and added another assist Saturday.

Anna Zikova, ME (Fr., D; Cesky Tesin, Czech Republic) Chipped in on a 5-1 win at Merrimack with a career-high three assists.

Brittany Kucera, ME (So., D; Toronto, Ont.) Scored a goal and set up the game-winning tally in the Black Bears' only game of the week.

Katelyn Rae, MC (Jr., F; Courtice, Ont.) Racked up four points (3g, 1a) in two games last week, scoring twice and adding an assist in a 4-2 win against UNH including a short-handed score. She also scored the Warriors' only goal in a 5-1 loss to #10 Maine.

Taylor Wenczkowski, UNH (So., F; Rochester, N.H.) Led UNH with three points (2g, 1a) in a 1-2-0 week.
